We truly enjoyed this location! You could walk to beautiful parks, walking paths next to the river, to all the coffee shops and restaurants. A huge plus- walking distance to Whole Foods! Will definitely return when in the area. Thank you for accommodating us!

We had a nice stay at the Fox Den. Owners did a great job of reaching out ahead of time with information to ensure our stay was without problems. Proximity to busy area mean there was some noise in the evenings but box fans provided were a helpful source of white noise. With two toddlers we were very grateful for the snacks that were available. I would recommend this location for a nice stay in St. Charles.

David and Karen are amazing hosts. We have stayed at two of their places and I can honestly say it was a pleasure to interact with them. They were great during a last minute stay on a long weekend. We were opening an office that has a last minute hiccup and needed to extend our trip and David and Karen made everything easy.

Great place, very convenient to downtown st Charles!

The house was perfect for our needs. We were two parents with two adult children and this was just the right space. Loved that it was walkable to great restaurants and a peaceful river walk. If you want to be near restaurants and nightlife this is a great house for you. And the whole house was soooooo clean!

Great space for my wedding party to stay and get ready for the wedding. The house is beautiful with so much charm!! Great home overall!!!

Great communication from the outset. They communicated a road closure that may have given us problems, but didn't because they told us before hand. They seem more interested in making sure you have a good stay than you are yourself. Friendly hosts is an understatement. Minor things that you may or may not find defective are: 1. the stairs are incredibly noisy. 2. no oven 3. no ventilation fans 4. a couple pieces of hair that may or may not be yours under the pillow 5. a tooth pick flosser on the window ledge. ✅️ Would absolutely recommend this spot.
